Hannah and Joel's Fun Engagement

From Hannah: I love smiling for the camera! In fact, I've been told I'm never NOT smiling! My fiance, on the other hand, is less grin-happy. Indeed, he's on the opposite end of the spectrum. Needless to say, I was quite anxious to see how our engagement photos would turn out.

Of course, just when you think everything is planned to a tee, something will inevitably go wrong. On the day of our photo shoot, the salon where I was getting hair and makeup done was running really behind. Fifteen minutes to spare before the scheduled shoot, I had a bare face and rollers in my hair! I ran out of the shop, already five minutes late, praying my false eyelashes would stay put.

I was frazzled and a stressed mess when I arrived late to the shoot. But, the moment I saw Joel, I relaxed. He was waiting with a beer in hand for me (which I forgot to sit down in the photos, ha!) and a sweet smile on his face. He told me that I looked gorgeous, fake eyelashes or not. From there on out, we had a blast. I mean, who wouldn't when the shoot involves beer and ice cream?! All the worries I had about his facial expressions subsided and my smile reemerged after a hectic afternoon.
