Meaghan and Wes's Moody Wedding

From the Bride: From day one, I knew I wanted to create something unique, intimate and personal. I also wanted to show that small budgets didn't mean I had to give up on the details. With the help of family and friends, we were able to execute a beautiful day.

Coming from a blended family, it was important that everybody felt welcomed. What better way to merge our family and friends than a farm style table during dinner. Our venue was willing to accommodate that request, pair that with crystal chandeliers, exposed brick and original hardwood floors, we had a beautiful venue. Our photographer was up for the challenge of low lighting and the moody feeling we wanted to portray.

Personal touches can been seen throughout the day. From the jack-o-lantern cuff links Wes wore, the desserts the mother of the bride hand made, and the gold place setting animals. There are two touches that made our wedding very special. The first, Wes' childhood friend marrying us. We couldn't think of a better person to be our officiant. Also, our glass vases in memory of the loved ones that couldn't be with us. Even though they couldn't be there with us physically, they surrounded us in memory during our ceremony.
