Brandy and Kyle's Carter Cave Wedding
Romantic Rustic Wedding
From the bride: Our wedding was a unique and perfect day for our little family. This is a day we dreamed about and rightfully so. So many things were special about our day. We had one of the largest wedding parties. A lot of people thought this would overwhelm us, but it was truly special and those people helped us to be calm and also create our day. We were surrounded by so many people that love and support us. Our situation as a small family is unique as well. Three years prior to our big day we brought our special little boy into this world, Karter. He made this day both special and unique for us.
My favorite part of the day was immediately following the ceremony when we climbed into the red Mustang that gave us such a sense of peace and unmeasurable happiness. We were complete in every way possible and we felt God’s arms around us. I knew this was exactly where we were supposed to be. I've never been more proud to be with Kyle and Kyle with me. As we drove away Karter’ s (our son) face said it all. He didn't let that smile down for one minute. I was ready to hug them and hold them both. I’ve never felt like a luckier woman.
We were the first couple to get married on the old golf course at Carter Caves State Park. Not only is this place beautiful but Kyle spent much time on this course throughout his childhood so it was a special place for us. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by a tent reception. The scenery that surrounded us provided half of the decorations plus our added touches that truly showed our sense of style. We really aimed to please our crowd with cornhole and kid’s game area that seemed to be a hit. However, the most unique part was the dance moves that our crowd brought.
For other brides planning a wedding, set a budget, think about things that will make your day and spend your money there. Don't spend your money on things people will see, but focus your money on things that will create an unforgettable day for you and your guests. When things don't go exactly as planned, remember that this is your day and it just adds to your story - every quirky detail! But most of all enjoy your day and remember that the day is about your marriage and the man you are about to marry and nothing else matters!
