Brigitte and Austin's Louisiana Wedding

Louisiana Plantation Wedding

The groom, Austin, grew up in Kentucky and decided to attend The University of Alabama for college and that’s where he met Brigitte. Brigitte grew up in Louisiana, so The Houmas House Plantation was the perfect backdrop for their wedding day. Many friends and family members traveled from Kentucky for their big day. It rained all day, but as soon as it was time for the guests to begin arriving, the rain stopped and Brigitte got her grand entrance that she had been dreaming of. Their wedding was classic, timeless, and elegant. There wasn’t a need for much decor due to the beautiful scenery the venue had to offer. Brigitte’s bridal bouquet was personally made by a friend of the family, her brother carried her train down the aisle so it wouldn't get muddy. There were so many sweet little memories! The wedding reception was a blast for guests. The bride and groom had a live band and everyone danced the night away until it was time to send the couple off - but not before running through a very very long sparkler line!
